M…O…T…H…E…R
M is for mother she is the best and also for madness when I am a pest.
O is for one, one of a kind and when we’re crazy she doesn’t mind.
T is for tasty and that’s how she cooks, the meals on the table are always from books.
H is for hero, she’s that – there’s no doubt, she’ll be there to sort all our arguments out.
E is for energy that she needs everyday, to cope with the work that gives her no pay.
R is for rest when Sunday she sits, ‘cos then we will show, that we love her to bits.

My Mum is Number One
My mum is number one
She means everything to me
She kisses me and hugs me
She calls me her queen bee
She cleans the clothes
And washes the dishes
She tucks me in at night
And loves me with all her might.
She cleans and cooks
And reads me all my books
My mum is number one
She’s the best that there could be.
